Ward Law Group Scholarship Program Winners 2020
This February, Ward Law Group launched the Ward Law Group Annual Scholarship Program, in which we asked high school and college students to participate. While our initial offer included only one scholarship, we could not choose only one winner and extended the scholarship to include a runner-up award of $500.
As there were several qualified applicants, having to narrow the selection was difficult. However, we are pleased to announce our winners: Duncan Korkosz and Kaelyn Hebert! These individuals have both shown incredible potential and a proven track record along with a passion for community involvement and helping others.
Duncan Korkosz – $1,000.00
Duncan is a high school senior with plans to attend college this fall. He is heavily involved in school programs and is passionate about helping to give back to his community in any way that he can through volunteer work. Duncan has finished several college level courses and is extremely well prepared to continue in his pursuit of a brilliant career in the field of science. Duncan’s drive and devotion have stood out to everyone he has worked with and we have no doubt that he will continue to pursue his future career with the same academic excellence and heart for the community that he has shown so far.
Kaelyn Hebert – $500.00
Kaelyn is a New Hampshire resident currently studying as a Junior at Liberty University. Her future plans include to graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in pre-law and applying to law school to pursue a career in Family Law. Kaelyn has been heavily involved with several foster children and has learned first-hand the challenges that children and parents inside the system face. This personal involvement has given her a passion and a drive to continue to help those in need from a legal standpoint.
Congratulations Duncan and Kaelyn! We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors!
