Ward Law Group Announces 2026 “Shining Star” Scholarship Recipient

Manchester, NH – Ward Law Group, PLLC is pleased to announce Nora Lesmerises as the 2026 Ward Law Group “Shining Star” Scholarship recipient.

Attorney John Ward launched the scholarship in 2019 to support students continuing their education and to highlight individuals whose character mirrors the values that shape the firm’s work with injured clients. Perseverance, compassion, excellence, and hard work are the principles that have guided Ward Law Group’s success and the qualities the scholarship seeks to honor.

This year, the Scholarship Committee reviewed an impressive group of applicants, many of whom demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and community involvement. However, Nora stood out unanimously for her empathy, and unwavering commitment to becoming a pediatric nurse, a calling shaped by her own experiences.

Nora is a 2026 graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson, New Hampshire. Throughout high school, she excelled academically, earning High Honors with Distinction and completing a Medical Assistant program that provided hands‑on healthcare experience. She also served as captain of her varsity tennis team and balanced multiple jobs while maintaining strong academic performance.

Her dedication to helping children through babysitting, volunteering, and community involvement reinforced her desire to pursue pediatric nursing. She plans to continue her education at Rivier University, where she will work toward becoming a nurse who brings comfort, skill, and compassion to young patients and their families.
